Just cause,
Doesn’t mean just because,
And violence,
Ain’t the answer,
But sometimes we wish it was,
It’s easy,
Feelin’ queasy that it’s choices like these,
That keep us hangin’ in the gallows,
Shadows shakin’ in the breeze,
Oh please,
Our pleas are only coming with fees,
And only tend to keep them honest,
When the topic is greed,
The hunger we need,
We feed,
And bleed to keep the promise,
We’re free,
Not really,
But we still believe regardless,
What we see and who we’ll be,
Depends on what we honor,
And tarnish with our proclivity,

Can’t return with some civility,
